The physics of protection.

More coverage. Less fluid. Faster.

A wildfire protection service that hardens land, routes, and assets before fire arrives, and stands ready when it does.

Footprint Wider per pass More protected ground per pass than any conventional operation.
Penetration Deeper into fuels Into ground fuels, shrubs, and lower canopy, not just the surface.
Throw Longer reach More perimeter from a single unit, so fewer units cover more line.
Economics Less fluid per acre Lower fluid cost per acre protected, per hour worked.
01 · The problem

Wildfire is a coverage problem.

You cannot protect what your crews cannot reach in time. Hand crews, sprayers, and aerial drops leave thin, uneven coverage over the ground that actually needs it. Thin coverage is why defensible space fails, why evacuation routes ignite, and why preparation runs out of time before the wind turns.

Firebreak Dynamics is a protection service built to solve that problem. We do not sell equipment or chemistry by the drum. We deliver protected ground.

02 · The advantage

A physics advantage, delivered as a service.

How we produce these results is proprietary. What we produce on the ground is measurable: in acres protected per hour, and in gallons per acre.

Fine mist · High velocity

Smaller droplets. Wider footprint. Deeper hold.

Our teams lay down retardant as a fine, high-velocity mist. Smaller droplets carry more surface area per gallon. Higher velocity carries them farther. The result is a wider, deeper, more uniform footprint laid down in a single pass, one that binds to ground fuels, ladder fuels, and canopy alike.

  • Wider footprint per pass than any conventional operation.
  • Deeper penetration into ground fuels, shrubs, and lower canopy.
  • Longer throw from a single unit, reducing the fleet needed to cover a perimeter.
  • Lower fluid cost per acre protected, per hour worked.
03 · Services

Three services. One platform.

The same platform hardens ground before the season, keeps routes survivable through it, and engages the fire itself when it comes.

SVC-01 · Pre-season

Perimeter hardening

Pre-season and pre-event retardant lay-down for defensible space, community perimeters, and high-value assets. Done in hours, not days, with a fraction of the fluid a conventional crew would burn through.

  • Defensible space and community perimeters.
  • High-value structures and infrastructure.
  • Hours to harden, not days.
Harden a perimeter
SVC-02 · Recurring

Evacuation-route hardening

Recurring lay-downs on defined ingress and egress corridors so routes stay survivable when people need them most.

  • Defined ingress and egress corridors.
  • Recurring treatment on a set schedule.
  • Survivable routes when the wind turns.
Harden a route
SVC-03 · Active fire

Active-fire operations

Direct engagement on flame fronts at up to ten to forty times the water efficiency of a conventional stream, with the same platform performing evaporative cooling of unburned fuels ahead of the fire.

  • Direct engagement on flame fronts.
  • Evaporative cooling ahead of the fire.
  • Coordination with responding agencies.

Why we exist

Because some things can't be replaced.

No matter how much insurance you think you have. A policy rebuilds square footage. It doesn't rebuild the tree your kids grew up climbing, the shop you spent thirty years filling, or the corridor a community escapes on. We defend the original.

04 · The retardant

Retardant-agnostic. Bring yours, or use ours.

The platform delivers the coverage. The chemistry inside it is your call. The choice is yours; the coverage is ours to deliver.

Bring yours

Your formulation, our footprint.

We work with whatever retardant a client requires. Our platform handles them all, and lays each one down wider, deeper, and with less fluid than the operation you run today.

  • Agencies with existing PHOS-CHEK contracts.
  • Insurers with preferred formulations.
  • Utilities with approved supplier lists.
  • Private clients with environmental restrictions.
Or use ours

A proprietary, non-toxic retardant of our own.

For clients who want it, we offer our own proprietary, non-toxic formulation: food-grade chemistry that dries into a rain-resistant coating and holds a firebreak without environmental toxicity. It is a capability we own, not a product we push.

  • Non-toxic and bio-safe around people, pets, and livestock.
  • Non-corrosive on homes, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Long-lasting: rain-resistant through the season.
  • Held in-house, applied by our own crews.
05 · Compared

Conventional operations leave thin coverage. We don't.

Hand crews, sprayers, and aerial drops each solve a piece of the problem. None of them put uniform protection on the ground that actually needs it, at the speed the season demands.

06 · The mission

A mission that started in 2009.

Most fire protection companies study fire from a distance. Our founder built his career inside it.

Steve Wolf · Founder

The founder who wrote the category's patents.

Steve Wolf pioneered a new category of wildfire protection and wrote its founding patents. That work proved the physics. It grew out of forty years of creating, controlling, and extinguishing fire on command for Hollywood, where fire effects for Disney, Warner Brothers, Paramount, Fox, and Universal built a fluency no classroom teaches: what fire wants, where it goes, and what actually stops it.

Firebreak Dynamics is the next chapter: a clean-intellectual-property, founder-controlled company purpose-built to carry the mission forward at landscape scale. It owns its delivery architecture outright and holds a proprietary non-toxic retardant as an in-house capability. No inherited licenses, no encumbered patents, no borrowed brand. The company is founder-controlled by design, because a wildfire mission cannot be run on a quarterly calendar.

"This mission did not start with any one product, and it does not end with any one company. It ends when wildfire stops taking what it takes."

07 · Who it serves

Built for the people who cannot afford another lost season.

Wherever the wildland-urban interface meets something that matters, the coverage problem is the same. So is the answer.

Insurers

Writing wildland-urban-interface policy and looking to reduce loss ratios through pre-event mitigation.

Utilities

Hardening transmission corridors and substations against ignition and against wildfire encroachment.

Land managers and municipalities

Creating defensible space and hardening evacuation routes at community scale.

Public agencies and cooperators

Extending initial-attack capacity without expanding aerial fleets.

Private landowners

High-value structures, ranches, and holdings in the wildland-urban interface.

08 · Network

Built as a national system, not a local crew.

Wildfire doesn't respect county lines, and neither does our deployment model. Firebreak Dynamics operates as a network: monitored conditions, staged equipment, mapped routes, and crews positioned against the fire seasons that matter, concentrated where exposure runs highest.

Season-round monitoringFire activity and conditions tracked around protected properties, every day of the year.
Staged where risk livesEquipment and retardant positioned against the wildland-urban interface, not trucked in after the alert.
One playbook everywhereEvery protected site runs on the same survey, treatment, and response standard, whatever the zip code.

Documentation

Defense that holds up in an underwriting file.

Carriers are dropping coverage in fire-exposed regions, and the properties that keep it are the ones that can prove their defense on paper. Every Firebreak Dynamics engagement produces documentation built for that review: what was treated, when, to what standard, and what stands ready behind it.

Site survey and threat assessment on record.
Treatment log: retardant applied, dated, and mapped.
Maintenance and reapplication schedule, verified.
Standing response plan for the protected property.
09 · Firebreak Command

Your whole defense, in your pocket.

The Firebreak Command app puts the operations picture in the owner's hand: your property map, the state of your retardant line, live fire activity near your ground, and a direct line to the crews standing behind it.

Live property statusPerimeter condition, treatment dates, and readiness state, updated after every service visit.
Fire activity alertsNotifications when monitored fire activity approaches your protected ground, before it's on the news.
One-tap emergency dispatchWhen fire threatens, request response directly from the app. Your site file is already loaded on our side.
